Cooking Class
We teach the unique flavors of Cappadocia …
We will pick you up from your hotel at 10:00 AM and begin the day with a visit to a traditional local market in Cappadocia, where you will choose fresh ingredients for your cooking class. With help from your guide, you’ll learn about regional products and how locals shop for their daily meals.
From the market, we drive to the King’s Valley of Kelebek Hotel, a beautiful and untouched natural setting perfect for a memorable cooking experience. Led by local village women, the class introduces you to the basics of Cappadocian cuisine. You will prepare a homemade soup, two classic dishes—dolma and sarma—a seasonal main course such as green beans, leeks, or chickpeas, a dessert, and finally enjoy traditional Turkish coffee.
Your instructor will guide you through each step, offering insights into local techniques and cooking traditions. At lunchtime, you will enjoy the dolma and sarma you prepared, along with additional side dishes and desserts.
After a relaxed meal in the valley, we will drive you back to your hotel, finishing the tour around 2:00 PM.
This tour is available from April 1st to October 31st.
